We designed these brackets with a small yet very strong base, so they are easy to conceal behind your shelf.

Specs: 2" X 1", 6" tubing. Get 4 screws in 1 stud.

If your shelf is not over 2" thick, these floating shelf brackets can be installed beneath sheet rock directly onto a stud. Take a sharp blade, cut out the existing sheet rock, mount your brackets to a stud, and slide the shelf on. These brackets can be installed under/above the sheet rock, horizontal or vertical. There are many ways to use these.

Made from 3/16" steel and professionally welded, these brackets (mounted to studs) will hold over 100 lbs. So, feel free to let your floating shelf hold your most treasured possessions.
